The Washington DC Table Tennis Academy is dedicated to using table tennis as a means to improve our community as a whole, from our youth groups to our seniors and anyone in between.
Our youth programs are created to help at-risk and underprivileged children develop in a sport that is low risk and high reward while gaining valuable skills like teamwork, networking, building connections, communication, increasing confidence, mentorships, and valued long-lasting friendships.
Our senior and neurologically impaired programs are designed to help assist them in living longer and healthier lives by actively fighting cognitive decline and creating a safe, friendly environment within their community where they can make friends, engage with others, and build new skills. We aim to improve the lives of those living with neurological conditions and help individuals achieve better brain health at any age.
Our goal is to help at-risk and underprivileged youth gain valuable skills through table tennis like, teamwork, networking, building connections, communication, increasing confidence, mentorships, and valued long-lasting friendships, all while our professionals ensure children are being guided in learning techniques and skills to have fun and compete in table tennis. We offer table tennis training in both after-school and summer camp settings.
We are also proud to provide programs for individuals with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, dementia, Alzheimer and other neurological impairments. Our programs include after-school, summer camp, seniors, and neurological impairments.
